Sports Scramble Review

Let me start by saying I'm a huge fan of sports games especially the ones I have played in VR, but this quirky sports title knocks them all out of the park. You have 3 games to play Baseball, Basketball and Bowling all of which can be played in quick play, online or challenges. This though is unlike any normal game, ball changes, bat changes and lane changes make you have to adapt the way you play. Take for instance in one game of bowling I had the lanes change from an American football pitch with players blocking your shot to space invaders table where taking out the invaders score you high points.

The ball changes will have you bowling a rolling pin down the lane or hitting a fish in baseball and bat changes I've played tennis with a golf club. Trust me this game has to be played to know what I mean I highly recommend trying the free demo but even that doesn't do the full game justice. As far as challenges go you have around 7 of them for each sport which you can unlock trophies. The trophies can then be seen in a Hall of Champions.

When unlocking trophies or getting high scores you will unlock new clothing for your avatar and new skin colours. The graphics are stunning, and the environments very immersive and colourful. For me Sports Scramble is an incredible game and one I can see myself spending a lot of time with, if I can grab the headset back off my children as they are as hooked as me. If I was to give one negative is that load times do seem to take a while but other then that Armature Studios have done an incredible job. 9/10
